Basketball simulation game NBA 2K22 will launch on September 10 across PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. The game will be available in the following editions: Standard, Cross-gen and two anniversary editions called the NBA 75th anniversary and WNBA 25th anniversary editions.
The Standard Edition of the game is available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for $70 while it costs $60 on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. If you purchase the game on PS4 or Xbox One and want to upgrade it to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, then you can get the digital cross-gen version of the game for an extra $80.
The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions will also add a new city environment in the game's MyCareer and Neighborhood modes. NBA 2K22’s WNBA modes come with features like improved progression in season and MyCareer modes. The game will add new signature moves for the players, an improved basketball IQ and better jump shooting for the offensive boost, while for defending the developer is looking for a new type of blocking system to aid defensive capabilities.
